Maintenance Field Technician

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Field Technician to support property maintenance across our residential and commercial portfolio. What You’ll Do

General Property Maintenance

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems.
  
  
• Complete assigned work orders efficiently and document work performed.
  
  
• Inspect buildings, units, and common areas to identify maintenance issues.
  
  

Turnover & Unit Prep

• Prepare rental units for new residents, including cleaning, patching, painting, and installing fixtures.
  
  
• Ensure turnover standards are met within deadlines.
  
  
• Communicate with team leads or supervisors about supply needs or project updates.
  
  

Emergency & On-Call Support

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including occasional after-hours calls.
  
  
• Troubleshoot urgent issues such as leaks, power outages, or safety hazards.
  
  
• Follow protocols to prioritize and resolve problems quickly and safely.
  
  

Equipment Use & Care

• Use tools and materials safely and appropriately.
  
  
• Maintain tools, supplies, and vehicles in clean, organized working condition.
  
  
• Report damaged tools or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Coordinate with other maintenance staff, property managers, and residents.
  
  
• Provide timely updates on work status and escalate issues when needed.
  
  

Uphold a professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
 

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license.
  
  
• Hands-on experience in general maintenance or construction trades.
  
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and structural issues.
  
  
• Strong time management and communication skills.
  
  
• Customer-focused and self-motivated.
  
  
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, weather conditions, and multiple job sites.
