Position Summary:

The Data Quality Technician is responsible for reviewing, validating, and classifying data extracted by Relai's proprietary systems from mortgage and related documents. This role ensures high levels of accuracy, proper document categorization, and consistent adherence to established rules and requirements. Working within the document queue system, the technician processes assignments efficiently, supports software improvement efforts, and communicates effectively with managers and team members. This position is essential to maintaining data quality, supporting customer service standards, and contributing to the ongoing development of AI‑powered workflow solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Data Validation: Validate the accuracy of data extracted from mortgage and related documents using proprietary software, based on specific rules and requirements.
  • Document Classification: Ensure correct document classification and electronic indexing for customer records.
  • Work Assignment: Monitor and accept assignments from the document queue system, processing projects to assist in the improvement and development of company software.
  • Client Support: Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality to meet customer service standards.
  • Adaptability: Work closely with managers to resolve issues, handle evolving tasks, and report any product malfunctions requiring immediate attention.
  • Communication: Provide clear, concise communication to management, team members, and customers. Patience in managing challenging situations is key.
  • Compliance & Efficiency: Adhere to company policies, meet productivity expectations, and maintain job-specific standards of performance.
  • Repetitive Task Work: Must enjoy working on repetitive tasks as they are a core component of this role.
  • Shift: Work on-site with a shift from TBD (8 hours)
  • Quality Control: Locate and correct data entry errors, verify accuracy before submission.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other common computer applications.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders
  • Experience working in a cloud and SaaS environment is ideal.
  • Must have basic understanding of web-based applications and internet browsers.
  • Experience with mortgage-related documents is a plus but not .
