POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for Fulfillment Technician’s needs within the production area. All Fulfillment Technicians will report to this position. This position will manage team member interactions, training, 90 Day and Annual Reviews, payroll, Feedback forms, track attendance, and scheduling.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and provides schedule for Fulfillment Technicians.
  • Performs 90 day and annual reviews with Fulfillment Technicians.
  • Manages PTO and call off requests for Fulfillment Technicians.
  • Promotes positive team dynamics, documents personnel issues, and addresses conflict among team members.
  • Coordinates new hire training and refresh training for team members.
  • Performs duties related to focus area as assigned, and if fully accountable to this area.
  • Responsibilities to assigned team members, including but not limited to, mentoring, individual development planning, talent management, coaching, corrective action, and performanc reviews.
  • Assist Operations Manager with duties or projects supporting continuous improvement.
  • Participates as a fulfillment technician and is accountable for own work responsibilities.
  • Participates collegially in the development of new programs, practices and educational activities.
  • Ensures timely completion of maintenance logs and policy documentation.
  • Completes team member competency reviews in a timely manner.
  • Completes goal-setting with direct report at the beginning of the performance appraisal period.
  • Enhances professional and technical knowledge through seminars and other resources.
  • Maintains consistent communication with Operations Manager regarding area specific initiatives and activities.
  • Positive, professional demeanor is projected through verbal and non-verbal communications.
  • Interpersonal conflicts are resolved using appropriate methods and organizational resources, including but not limited to Employee Assistance Program.
  • Diverse perspectives are acknowledged; language and behaviors are modeled that build inclusiveness in the work environment.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities.
  • Initiative is demonstrated to proactively diagnose and resolve problems.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience is preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
  • Advanced degree or certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in staffing management.
  • Proficiency in desktop productivity tools, emphasis on Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong user support orientation.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
