Evening Maintenance/Janitorial

Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) of Pittsburgh, PA is looking to hire a full-time Evening Maintenance individual.

This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between our two facilities located in Edgewood and Oakland. The scheduled hours for this role are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and candidates must be available to work this shift consistently.

ABOUT COMMUNITY LIVING AND SUPPORT SERVICES (CLASS)

A nonprofit organization founded in 1951, we provide person-centered social, recreational, and residential support for people with disabilities throughout Allegheny County. Our mission is to support them as they explore options, participate in the community, and strive toward equality. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vacuum individual offices, group spaces, and hallways

• Mop floors

• Clean bathrooms

• Clean offices and classrooms

• Empty trash in individual and group spaces

• Clean windows and glass throughout building

• Sweep sidewalks and clean lot

• Snow removal and salting of sidewalks and building entrances

• Set up rooms for AM classes

• Complete all building closing procedures (lock all doors, set HA turn off lights, set security system....)

• Assist with attendant care as needed

• Assist individuals to vans/cars

• Other duties as assigned

• Respond to individuals, family members and other staff in a sensitive, tactful and professional manner

• Accept and render criticism in a professional manner

• Attend trainings related to job functions as required

• Adhere to all policies established by the Board of Directors
